High TG PCB
LHD Technology meets all your PCB customization needs
High TG PCB (High Glass Transition Temperature Printed Circuit Board) refers to a printed circuit board whose glass transition temperature (Tg) is greater than 170°C. Tg is the critical temperature at which the material changes from “solid” to “rubbery” at high temperature, reflecting the performance stability of the PCB under high temperature environment. The Tg of ordinary FR-4 materials is usually between 130°C and 180°C, while high TG PCB requires the material’s Tg value to exceed 180°C to meet the needs of higher temperature applications.
Applications of High Tg PCBs
Automotive electronics
Used for electronic components that need to withstand high temperatures, such as engine control units.
Aerospace
Used for satellites, avionics, and communication systems, which require PCBs to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
Computers and data centers
In high-power density devices, such as high-performance computer processors, to ensure good heat dissipation.
Communication equipment
Especially in wireless base stations and fiber-optic communication equipment, high-frequency stability and heat resistance are required.
Industrial control
such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), reliability needs to be maintained during long-term manufacturing processes
